The Implosion Jewelry Collection

Implosion, by definition, is a process in which objects are destroyed by collapsing on themselves. The opposite of explosion, implosion concentrates matter and energy. An example of implosion is a submarine being crushed from the outside by the hydrostatic energy of the surrounding water.

By definition, energy is that which cannot be created or destroyed. The Implosions Collection occurs when Provincetown's energy is melted down into jewelry.

Provincetown is known as the world's end and beginning. Drawing from a strong sense-of-place, the Implosions Collection is unstoppable as time itself. Modeled after the sign of eternity, these pieces are a manifestation of Provincetown's unmistakable energy. Which, like all energy, is the one thing that will always go on. Browse some of these unstoppable designs below.

Let's not forget one of my signature designs. Made right in the studio, these pieces are akin to that of the ocean's eye staring back at you. Unblinking. Unflinching. Unforgettable.

Pictured below, see what happens when my bubble design meets with the ocean and comes out to play. The end result? This gorgeous, glass and silver implosion collection.

The Implosion Bubble Slider, silver gray-green implosion glass stone set in hand fabricated bubble-inspired design. Then set into slider. (Pictured above.)

The set below is called Summer Rain. I, Leanne Silva was born on the first day of summer. When warm rain falls on such days, reality ceases to exist. It is times like these that I rejoice in; releasing creative downpours into every piece of my work.

Below, please find jewelry pieces modeled after shimmering flocks of bubbles. And every bit as playful and glistening. The only difference, with this durable silver, they will never pop!

Please see the Bubble-Inspired Necklace (pictured left), and the Bubble Earrings, (pictured below.)

Dare to shimmer, shine, and outlast time.
